AI-powered WordPress content and layout updates by Timofey.ca in Toronto

We run our own site this way. On timofey.ca we used this workflow to publish 15 location pages, rewrite page titles and meta descriptions, add FAQ structured data, and correct outdated claims across several pages at once, each change reviewed before it went live. Need a full rebuild instead? See AI website development.

How an AI Website Update Works

  1. You tell us what needs to change: a page, a section, a new service, or the whole site.
  2. We audit the pages involved and check what they rank for, so updates help rather than hurt your search traffic.
  3. AI drafts the changes: rewritten copy, new pages, FAQs, titles and meta descriptions, built with your existing blocks.
  4. A senior developer reviews every draft for accuracy, tone and layout, and fixes anything AI got wrong.
  5. Updates are published to WordPress, which saves the previous version of each page as a revision you can restore.
  6. We verify the live pages: layout on desktop and mobile, links, forms and structured data.

What AI Does and What a Person Does

AI is fast at writing and editing at scale. It is not responsible for your business, so a person is:

AI handles

  • First drafts of new and refreshed pages
  • Rewriting titles and meta descriptions across many pages at once
  • Drafting FAQs and structured data
  • Finding outdated details, broken links and inconsistencies across the site

A senior developer handles

  • Deciding what to change, based on your goals and your search data
  • Checking every fact, price and claim before it goes live
  • Layout and design decisions, and how each change looks on mobile
  • Publishing, verifying the live pages, and rolling back anything that does not work

What We Update with AI

Most websites lose ground slowly: service pages go out of date, new services never get a page, titles stop matching what people search, and the layout no longer leads visitors to call. AI makes fixing all of it fast, and a human review keeps it accurate.

Typical updates we handle:

  1. Service page refresh: outdated copy rewritten around what your customers search for, with clearer offers and calls to action.
  2. New pages at scale: location and service pages written uniquely for each city or service, never copy-pasted with the name swapped.
  3. SEO fields in bulk: page titles, meta descriptions and headings rewritten across the whole site to match real search queries.
  4. FAQs and structured data: answer-first FAQ sections with FAQ schema, so Google and AI assistants can quote your answers.
  5. Layout and section updates: new sections, reordered blocks, stronger calls to action and refreshed images, built with your existing blocks and page builder.
  6. Accuracy fixes: outdated prices, unsupported statistics, broken links and typos found and corrected across every page.

Data-Driven Updates, Not Guesswork

Before we change a word, we look at the numbers. Every update is chosen because your data points to it, and every fact is checked before it is published.

  • Page-two searches: Search Console shows the searches where you already appear but rank on page two or three. We update the page that should win them.
  • Missing pages: searches for services or towns you offer but have no page for. On timofey.ca, Search Console showed hundreds of impressions for towns such as King City and Nobleton with no dedicated page, so we built them.
  • Pages that get visits but no leads: Google Analytics shows where visitors arrive and leave without calling or sending a form. Those pages get clearer offers and calls to action, and conversion tracking measures the result.
  • What competitors and AI assistants cover: we compare your pages with the pages that rank above you and the answers AI assistants give, and fill the real gaps.
  • Fact checks: prices, statistics and claims are checked against your records. Numbers that cannot be sourced are corrected or removed, like the inaccurate statistic we fixed on six of our own pages.

Where available, we add more evidence:

  • Google Business Profile insights: how many people find you on Google Maps, and how many call or ask for directions.
  • Google Ads keyword data: how many people search for each of your services in your area every month.
  • Your form inquiries and reviews: the words customers use when they contact or review you, used with your permission, so pages answer real questions in their language.
  • Real-user speed data: how fast your pages load for actual visitors, from Google’s Chrome UX Report and PageSpeed Insights.
  • Keyword and competitor research tools: search volumes, keyword difficulty and the backlinks behind your competitors’ rankings.
  • AI visibility checks: what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI say about your business and your competitors today.
  • Visitor behaviour: heatmaps and session recordings from Microsoft Clarity, showing where visitors click, scroll and give up.

After the updates go live we check Search Console and Analytics again, so you can see what changed. All we need is read-only access to both, which you can remove at any time.

Recent AI Updates on Timofey.ca

We use this exact workflow on our own website. Recent work on timofey.ca:

  • 15 new location pages, written uniquely for each city, such as Mississauga, and added to the site menu.
  • Page titles and meta descriptions rewritten across 20 pages to match what people actually search for.
  • An inaccurate statistic corrected on six pages at once, everywhere it appeared, including inside FAQ structured data.
  • A full service page rewrite: our e-commerce page was refocused on WooCommerce, with unsupported statistics replaced by verifiable facts.
  • Thank-you pages hidden from Google, so search results only show pages that win customers.

Every one of these changes was reviewed before it went live and can be undone from WordPress revisions.

AI Plugin or Managed AI Updates?

WordPress plugins can now connect AI to your site and rewrite posts automatically. If you have time to write prompts, review every output and check how pages look afterwards, a plugin can work. Most business owners do not, and the risks land on the business: wrong facts published under your name, layouts broken on mobile, pages rewritten away from the searches that brought customers in.

With managed updates you describe what you want in plain English, and a developer handles the prompts, the review, the publishing and the checks. You get the speed of AI without becoming its editor.

Who AI Website Updates Are For

  • Service businesses with a solid site but stale content, such as contractors, clinics, law firms and studios.
  • Businesses adding services or locations that need new pages quickly without copy-paste duplicates.
  • Owners whose previous developer is gone, who need changes made safely on a site they did not build.
  • Anyone preparing for AI search, who wants pages structured so ChatGPT and Google AI can cite them. See GEO optimization.

If the site itself is outdated, start with AI website development; for plugin, security and backup care, see website maintenance.

AI Website Updates — Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a new website to use AI updates?

No. We update the WordPress website you already have, inside your existing theme and page builder. If the site itself is outdated, AI website development covers a full rebuild.

Which websites can you update?

WordPress websites built with the block editor or page builders such as Kadence and Elementor. For sites on other platforms, we can usually rebuild them on WordPress first.

How do you access my website?

Through a WordPress application password: a separate login for our updates that you can revoke at any time from your user profile. You never share your admin password.

Can I undo a change?

Yes. WordPress saves the previous version of every page we edit as a revision, so any change can be restored in a click from the page’s revision history.

Will AI-written content hurt my Google rankings?

Not when it is accurate and useful. Google ranks helpful content regardless of how it was produced. Every update we publish is reviewed by a person, and we never mass-produce near-identical pages.

Will you change my design?

Only where you want it changed. Content updates keep your existing layout; layout updates are agreed with you first and built with the blocks your site already uses.

How is this different from website maintenance?

Website maintenance keeps WordPress, plugins and security up to date. AI updates change what visitors read and see: pages, copy, layout and SEO. Many clients combine both.

How much do AI website updates cost?

A one-time AI content refresh is $149 per page, or $649 for five pages. Monthly AI updates are $149 per month for up to 4 page updates, or $299 per month for up to 10 page updates or 2 new pages. Plans are month to month, prices are in CAD plus HST, and the first audit is free.

How do you decide what to update?

From your data. Google Search Console shows the searches you appear for and where you rank; Google Analytics shows which pages turn visitors into calls and forms. We prioritize pages ranking on page two, searches with no matching page, pages with traffic but no leads, and anything outdated or inaccurate, and we show you the data behind each recommendation.
